Connect Card Program Details
The Connect Card is a program that provides youth and families an easy way to access existing community funds.
How does the program work?
Participating youth may use their Connect Card to access discounts from a variety of programs. Registering for a Connect Card means your child(ren)'s card(s) will be accepted with any affiliated program without the need to fill out additional paperwork.
A variety of discounts are available, based on each program's standards. The Connect Card will provide access to available funds through this very easy format. Participating agencies will set their own discount limits; consult with them if you have any questions. Some programs may not be eligible for a discount; please inquire about specific programs before registering.
Who is eligible to participate?
To qualify, participants must qualify for ConnectBenefits, which fall in line with the Federal Standards for Free or Reduced price meals, or they must have a financial hardship that prevents full payment of a program fee, and must live and/or go to school in Edina. The graph below shows the standards for 2024-2025.
How do I apply for my child(ren)?
Sign up online or print and fill out the form and mail to Edina Community Foundation, 4801 W 50th Street, Edina, MN 55424.
What happens to my information?
Information is submitted online with encryption to a secure server. Information provided via mail will be kept in a secure and confidential manner. Your information will only be shared with other participating organizations and ONLY if a significant need for access is proven.
When can my child(ren) start using a Connect Card?
When your eligibility has been verified (usually within a week), you will receive a letter of notification and your Ready-Set-Connect Card. This card should be presented at the time of registration for any of the participating programs.
